New Glasses, New World

It's been a bit, but I'm back with a new blog entry! I got my new glasses yesterday and oh boy do they make a big difference. It turns out I had the old ones since 2016, so it's actually a good thing they broke (even tho technically they got repaired for free so I wouldn't have to walk around half blind until the new ones arrive). It was about time I had my sight checked too. In these ten years my right eye went from -3.25 to -3.50, a nice, small change. My left eye on the other hand...well it went from -3.25 to -4.25...No idea why my left eye is so much worse, but not a problem with the new glasses. Feels like I'm seeing the world in 4k now haha. I was considering going to the lake again today since it's pretty hot again, but I also don't want to walk there through the hot air. The water mus be really nice though. Maybe tomorrow.
And next week a friend from Lower Saxony is coming down here. Haven't seen him in quite a while, so that's going to be exciting.

Spain won, Argentina lost

Welp, that was the World Cup. Crazy final match. Didn't expect Argentina to play this badly lmao. First attempt at goal in minute 115, 10 minutes before end. Honestly respect for Argentinia's goalkeeper for only letting three goals in (and two of them didn't even count. The third one should'Ve counted imo. Offside rules are really stupid.) The halftime show was also really weird. Kinda broke all momentum and Justin Bieber ruined the vibes totally. Shakira was the only good thing about it. Crazy that she's 49 but still looks and dances like over ten years ago. Well anyways, overall the World Cup was great, even tho our German team sucked balls. Glad I watched it. Last one I watched was back in 2014.

Of Lakes and broken Glasses

I just got back from a lake here in my city. The weather is really nice today, so I decided to do something I hadn't done in many years: go swimming! So I went to a lake and it was pretty fun. My swiming skills are a bit rusty and the strong winds caused quite a lot of waves, but I managed.
Somehow I also managed to break my glasses by simply putting them in my backpack, which means now I'm half blind. I can't even read what I'm typing here, so excuse any spelling mistakes. I'll go to the glasses shop (or whatever you call it in english) and get some new ones on monday. I should probably do a sight test first tho, for it has been many years since I had one done.
Today is also the match for the third place in the World Cup and tomorrow is the grand finale! I hope England wins today (tho I have my doubts after they threw so hard against Argentinia lol) and Spain hopefully wins it all. Anyways that's all for now.

Hello reader :D This is the very first entry of my blog. Honestly, I don't even really know what you write in a blog lol. I guess just about what's going on at the moment. Well I'm mainly playing the new Marvel Rivals Season. I'm quite enjoying it, cuz every sense of balancing got thrown out of the window. Pretty much every character is broken right now and it's just pure chaos. I finally got Storm to lord and now I'm maining The Thing. His damage is insane, but man, I suck at getting kills. I can have the most damage in the entire lobby, but only like 2 kills lmao. Anyways I'm gonna play some more and keep updating this little website.
